Guestbook Ideas for Your Wedding
When it comes to planning the nitty gritty wedding day details, it can be totally overwhelming. One of my fav ways to see couples show their personality is in the way they chose to build their guest book. Below are a few of my favs and very popular options in more detail.
A few other ideas to consider would be having your guests use their branding irons on a table or piece of wood, have your guests sign a cow skull to hang in your home, or a traditional book for signatures.
Pictured below is a shadow box. I’ve seen this done many different ways + its super fun. The shapes of the wood pieces would be anything from circles to hearts or tree leaves. Your guests sign their little piece and drop it in the top of the box. This couple opted for a picture of their pup for the center but it would be anything. It would be a great way to use an engagement picture! These shadow boxes could be kept on a mantle, dresser or on a shelf in a public area of your home for all the years to come!
One of my all time favs is a polaroid book! This one sometimes requires an extra person or two to help with to take the pictures and keep the line flowing well. It can also be helpful to have two different cameras for when a rush of guests come in all at the same time. You could have a basket or little box for the photos to go in, or your guests or the table attendants could glue the pictures right into a blank book and then sign it with a message to the couple. This book can be a great conversation piece in your home and something fun to look back through.
I really love incorporating engagement photos into the wedding day + your guest book is the perfect way to do that. When choosing frames like this or a big piece to hang on a wall, it can be a big commitment because it will take up some wall space in your home, but I think it’s a special daily reminder of all the people who love and support you guys.
This may be one of the most unique guest books I’ve ever seen + definitely one of my new favs! All of their guests signed three wooden saddle racks. It’s a practical and fun way to incorporate the western way of life into your wedding + into something that will get used daily.
Ultimately, there are a million options for you to chose from. I do hope this was helpful in your decision-making process, maybe sparked your interest, or helped you think of another cool, fun way to have a unique and special guest book at your wedding day. Happy wedding planning!
