Must Have Wedding Registry Items

From experience, I know that building your wedding registry can be an overwhelming and daunting task. In an attempt to help you eliminate some of that stress or the need to create a Facebook post asking all of your friends, I did that for you! So many people had some really awesome advice and items that are must-haves, so hopefully you have no need to look any further! Happy wedding planning, my friend.

  1. If you love hosting or having people over, it was suggested that you order more than the recommenced eight plates. Also, ask for double the silverware as well! You don’t want anyone left out or to have to wash dishes mid-dinner.

  2. Several ladies said the KitchenAide mixer is a must! This is a great item for several people or families to go in on together to be a group gift. I wish I had asked for this myself.

  3. Bedding and towels was one of the most repetitive answers. The cost of these items add up over time, so register for everything you think you might want or need eventually. Ask for high quality items so they can stand the test of time.

  4. A Roomba! The robot vacuums are incredible, especially if you have pets that shed. This gift is totally worth it. This would be another great group gift.

  5. Handmade items such as quilts, blankets, curtains, etc. I love this suggestion. If you are sentimental, this will go along with you. These are such great things to have and they will have even more meaning when they’re made from someone you love.

  6. Gift cards. This can be pretty boring and generic if you let it, but I loved the suggestion of gift cards for your fav restaurants or your fav meal service or to go do things for date nights like mini golf or bowling. These experiences will create awesome memories and lots of meals!

  7. Many people suggested kitchen items of all sorts. A good quality pot and pan set, the cool ground beef spoon, a glassware set, and your basic utensils, as well as kitchen towels all made the list. You can never have too many of these items!

  8. This is a suggestion I’m throwing in here, but if your partner likes to cook outside, you could register for a propane griddle, smoker grill, charcoal grill, and all the utensils and tools that go along with those items!
