Weddings are about two people joining forces to take on life together. Weddings are about making vows and promises to your person and starting your new life together. After your day is over- your dress + your photos are all that is left to tell the story of your day.
The first time your grandma sees you in your dress or your best friend is helping carry your dress or your first kiss as a married couple, your parents watching you dance - those are the candid moments I want to photograph for you. Those are the times that you will want to remember.
The photos taken on your day will stand the test of time but that’s not the only promise I want to make you.
With over 10 years of experience and having photographed more than 100 weddings - I can promise you these things….
A speedy turnaround time on your gallery
Don’t want to make an iPhone photo your new profile picture? No fear!! You will see a sneak peek within 48 hours of the wedding’s completion so you can share with your friends and family and update that Facebook profile picture a professional one! My contract says four to six weeks for complete delivery time, but I work my hiney off without sacrificing quality to have the entire gallery completed in two to three weeks. This way you can share with grandma or your best friends when you get back from that honeymoon.
Timeline assistance
Not hiring a wedding planner? No problem! We will work together to build your ‘day of’ timeline. You will receive a questionnaire in your email 4-6 weeks prior to wedding to provide me with all of your information and details. From that questionnaire we will build a timeline for the day based on your wants and needs so we don’t leave anything out! There is also a sample timeline in the wedding magazine I will mail out to ya to look over for reference when deciding what is most important to you. Working together to build this timeline makes sure everyone is on the same page.
You can share your timeline with your wedding party, families + any other vendors to simplify the communication and planning process.
A laid back + relaxed experience
Your wedding day is about YOU + your person - no one else. I am willing to help + guide you with the timeline assistance, but I will NEVER tell you what to do. It is 100% my nature to go with the flow and roll with the punches as the day progresses and things can potentially change. I am flexible and more than happy to adapt to different scenarios. I will go above + beyond to serve you to the best of my ability.
I am willing to answer any questions that may come up - It’s your world, friend, and I’m just living in it!
I am a witness of the big AND small moments.
How would the day happen if a photographer wasn’t there? That’s what I want to photograph.
This means the photos you receive will be candid + real. Your photos will be authentic + genuine as well as classic and timeless. I will take photos of the day exactly how it happens.
We will get your formal family + wedding party photos. But the best part? It won’t take all day. Your wedding day is about the beginning of your marriage - not about spending all day taking photos. Your guests will be treated with all the love + respect I would want my people to be treated with and that starts with being respectful of their time with you!
I am organized, prepared + professional.
All of your photos will be delivered to you in an online gallery with folders for different portions of your day. For example - there will be one for getting ready images and another for ceremony and another for wedding party photos, etc. If I take your engagement photos as well, they will be in a folder in that gallery as well. Your photos are organized and easy to find in one location!
All photos I take are backed up in three or more locations at all times. They are on my computer, on TWO separate hard-drives and the edited images are stored in your online gallery.
I will be a helping hand.
I’m an Enneagram 2 so I have a heart for service. Your wedding day is the perfect place for me to serve you. You are hiring me for wedding day to be your photographer, to photograph the day as it happens with as little influence from myself as possible. I probably won’t help carry the train of the wedding dress or fix the decorations or help the bride into her dress because (hear me out) if I was the one doing those things, I would be missing out on photographing that moment with one of the most important people in your life that could be doing whatever ‘thing’ that is.
I LOVE all of my couples and want to be your friend and foster a really awesome relationship that will carry on for years after your wedding day and that starts with me serving you the best way I know how as your wedding photographer.
